"Yaaaawn," the girl stretched herself out of a drowsy state. It was time for school again.
She got up at a reasonable time today so she headed downstairs to find her mother sitting at the dining room table reading the paper and drinking some steaming liquid out a mug, probably coffee.

"You're up early," the mother stated.
Bella rubbed her eyes still fighting off the drowsiness.
"I thought I'd give myself a little time for breakfast today," Bella remarked.
She poured herself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table with her mom.
"Coffee?" her mom asked.
"Oh uh, sure," Bella replied, getting up to grab a mug from the cabinet.

"So how's school been treating you, honey?" her mother asked.
Bella glanced off to the side thinking. 'How's school? Well for one I'm a girl now and Bailey treats me differently and to top that off she's taking someone to prom that isn't me!! And it's not because I'm a girl, she's taking a girl too. I met a boy yesterday. He was nice.'
"Schools been... alright," Bella lied slightly.
Her mom gave a skeptical look at the way she had said that but chose not to press onward with the topic.
"Remember, we have that baby shower to go to this weekend," her mother reminded her.
'Oh.. guess I'm invited to those now'

It was time to get ready. She headed back upstairs and saw her room, still not quite use to its current look.
First she went to the bathroom to wash off her face and then dried it off. Then she stepped back to her room.
She opened her wardrobe and searched for something to wear. After some digging around she pulled out a patterned t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. The t-shirt's sleeves felt different.. perhaps slightly tighter, more revealing than she was used to. Putting on a bra was less of a hassle once she started putting it on backwards and then rotating it around. It was still a hassle but in the end it was a big time saver. She stepped into the bathroom again. This time she brushed her hair out. Maybe someday she'd do something more with it? Not today. She puckered her lips and applied the raspberry lip gloss. It had become a ritual to her almost.
She went back to her room, slipped on her sneakers and grabbed her school bag.
She headed downstairs.

"Mom, I'm heading out now! See you later!" Bella called out, knowing her mom would be busy getting started to get ready for work by this time.
"See you, sweetie!" she replied.

Bella waited at the bus stop. She rested her thumbs under the straps of her school bag. There were a couple kids there and more kids were currently arriving. She was starting to realize that she didn't stick out as much as she initially thought she had. She was nothing special. To these teens she was just another ordinary girl. She took slight solace in that.
Soon the bus had arrived and rode them off to school. She took this time to study her class schedule for the day.
She hopped off the bus with the crowd of students around her. She headed to her locker. Bella grabbed the books required for the first half of the day and stuffed them into her bag. Ready for the school day, she decided to spend her extra time to go see Bailey. Luckily, that Heather girl was nowhere in sight. It was just the two of them.
"Hey Bailey" Bella greeted.
"Oh hi, Belle. Love that top on you," she replied.
The girl seemed happier this morning than she was yesterday. That made Bella happy too.
"Thanks," Bella replied trying not to blush.
The conversation paused. No one said anything.
"So uh.... Tuesday, huh?" Bella said nervously to salvage this.
"It certainly is.. isn't it?" Bailey replied just as awkwardly.
The morning bell rung.
"Well um, See you later Belle!"
"Yeah uh- later!" she replied.

The school day dragged on and on just as it did yesterday. At noon it was finally time for her lunch period. She headed to her locker to grab her lunch bag and then realized something dreadful. She had forgotten her lunch.
She nervously headed towards the cafeteria, deciding she just wouldn't eat today.
'I had a decent breakfast this morning, I'll be fine.. probably. Girl stomachs are smaller anyways.. right? Less appetite?? That's sounds about right.'
She looked for a place to sit. Ideally she wanted to sit somewhere alone, but not so alone that she'd seem pitiful without her lunch.
"Bella," she heard Bailey's voice from behind her. Bailey shared this lunch period with her apparently!
She followed Bailey and they sat down across from one another. Bailey took note that Bella didn't seem to have a lunch and offered her a bag of pretzels. Bella tried to say no but Bailey insisted. The two exchanged small talk for a while. Then she showed up.
"Hay Bail~" Heather said. What a horrible pun..
"Hi Bella" Heather said plainly. The inflection seemed a lot less friendly. Maybe that was just in Bella's head though.
Heather sat down right next to Bailey. Bella hoped her jealousy wasn't visible. She felt like Heather sensed it though and was eating it up like it was some delicious meal.
The lunch period got a lot less enjoyable from that moment onward. For one, Bella didn't know anything about half the things these two girls were talking about. Sure she saw that dumb vampire movie the other night but..
Then Bella took control of the conversation. She started talking about Twi-Night: Drinking Dawn Part 2.
Bailey enthusiastically gave her review of the film.
"Oh really, I haven't seen it." Heather cut in.
"It's so good!!" Bailey replied.
"Yeah, it was pretty great," Bella lied.
"Sorry if I spoiled any of it for you," Bailey apologized.
"I didn't want to see it.." Heather stated.
"Oh."
Bailey pouted. Bella felt good not being the one feeling left out.

After lunch, the boring school day continued. She did see Sebastian in Biology class at the end of the day. His assigned seat was at the front of the room while Bella's was towards the middle back. Luckily, or maybe not luckily (it wouldn't hurt to study up how this body functions), this was a marine biology class and not a human biology class, since it was a chosen elective. The class was admittedly more interesting than math was. Bella found herself not focusing in the class as much as she was observing Sebastian. She just found him interesting. She wanted to get to know him more maybe.
'Crap did the teacher just say something about the homework? What did he say??'
As soon as class ended she walked to the front of the room to ask Sebastian.
"Hey Seba-" she nervously tried to muster up. He was so tall! She felt so small next to him. It almost felt.. nice to feel so short in comparison. She shook her head trying to clear out these thoughts.
He went to turn around and almost stumbled into the girl.
"Oh- Bella! Didn't see you there, haha," he fumbled with his words.
Bella couldn't help but smile at his awkwardness.
"So did you need anything?" he asked.
"Oh.. uh. Did you catch what the homework was?" she asked.
"Oh, yeah, one sec," he stated as he pulled out his planner to read off the assignment.
"Jeez, that sounds like a lot of work. Thanks by the way" Bella responded.
"If you need help with it or want a free answer or two don't be afraid to ask.."
"Hehe, alrighty thanks," Bella replied before immediately walking away.
'Oh my god when did I get so ditsy? What was that??'

She waited outside for a half hour for the bus to show up. It was a nice breezy day. She got to wave goodbye to Bailey and glare at Heather who Bailey was apparently carpooling with. Bella wondered where they were going together. Her thoughts drifted to other related topics: Does Bailey like Heather more? Does she pity her? Bella wasn't sure if she wished she could go with them or not. Anytime with Bailey would be time well spent, but Heather on the other hand..
The bus arrived.

Bella got home greeted her mother and headed straight for her room.
Eager to get out of this breast trap she reached her arms under the back of her shirt and fumbled with the straps of her bra. After an exhausting few minutes, she finally got it undone. She then pulled her arms into her t-shirt so she could slide the bra off, letting it fall to the floor. She viewed this as an astounding victory.
She then walked to her bed and collapsed face first onto it. Sure it wasn't that comfortable at all but it felt appropriate to do.
Eventually she fell asleep. Hours passed.
She woke up after midnight realizing she hadn't even started her homework yet! She frantically dived for her schoolbag to see how much of it was due tomorrow.
She quickly completed all the easy assignments with ease. They weren't her best work but they were probably passable.
And then she saw the last dreaded assignment.
B I O L O G Y .
"Frick!" she quietly exclaimed.
She opened the text book and turned to the page number of the assignment. On the two pages were about 40 questions; a chapter review.
She answered as many as she could, putting in as much effort as she could even muster at this late hour. After pillaging the chapter for answers she still had 5 questions left unanswered. Then she remembered.
She powered up her laptop and tried to log onto her social media. She never really used this one anymore as Ben. If she recalled correctly, some people from school still tended to use it.
Her email address and password were luckily the same. Once an anime nerd, always an anime nerd.
If she had the time she'd check her past statuses and photos for some info on who the heck people thought she was, but there was no time for that right now. She clicked onto her friends list and sure enough there he was.
Sebastian!

-Hey um.. I think I need to take you up on your offer.
I believe you mentioned free answers?
A few seconds later, the text 'sebastian is typing...' appeared.
He replied:
Oh lol. Which questions seem to be puzzling you?
With his help the assignment was soon completed.
Thankyou so much, Sebastian. Don't know what I'd do without you ^-^~
She didn't want to sound so dependent on him, but it was practically one in the morning now. If she had the power as a girl to make him feel good by praising him then so be it. He earned it.
She couldn't believe she'd used such a cutesy emoji though.
It was really no problem. Glad I could help xD
You should get some sleep! It's pretty late you know.
I should say the same to you! And if I was asleep I wouldn't have been up to help u!
..fair enough
The two chatted back and forth for several more minutes. Bella actually fell asleep mid conversation.
She woke up the next morning to a few more messages from Sebastian.
Yeah, I guess you're right. That one is kind of good if you just turn off your brain while watching it..
Hello?
Nite.
She replied:
sorry fell asleep lol. thanks again for all the help <:
Bella then headed to the bathroom. She had to go really bad.
After finishing that task she grabbed some clothes from her dresser and took a shower before school. She had to wash off the sweat from that burst of panic last night. Showering was a really calming experience for her. It had been a few days now. She recounted all that had happened in the past few days. She realized she was starting to get used to being a girl. This was somewhat worrying, but she was also glad things were starting to feel a little more normal.
She dried off and brushed her damp hair out. Standing nude for a few moments she studied herself more. It was so weird seeing someone different as a reflection. So familiar yet so very different. She got dressed, putting a bra on in a record 1 minute, 27 seconds.

She headed back to her room, packed her books into her bag and headed downstairs. She had run over on time a little this morning so she had to take breakfast to go again. On the bus she realized she forgot and important part of her morning routine. She dug into her purse and pulled out a tube of lip gloss. She sat back in her seat dreading, but ready for another long day of classes.

...
wrote this in two days and hardly spell checked it um..
but here it is~ The fabled part 9 of A Second Chance.
After this I think next part will speed through wednesday and thursday for the sake of keeping things interesting and go right into what happens on Friday and the weekend. There's some events coming up.. probably.. if i decided where to place any of these upcoming things and plot twists..
In case you're curious, at this time I haven't decided the ultimate ending of this story. It's kind of being written as I go along..
I hope this doesnt get too boring.. I'll be sure to throw even more new stuff in the next part.
